Brian Oliva Welcome to the Oliva Family Web Site. My name is Brian Oliva, and as your host, I hope you enjoy your stay here. When our site was first developed over a decade ago in 1996, it did not really represent the family. This whole place was really just the "Brian Oliva Home Page." It has taken awhile to shift the focus to what I really had planned-- to make the site a family refuge, and with major revisions that started in January, 1999, the site is much closer to that reality. As we work our way into 2009, I realize that keeping this site as updated as I'd like is a full time job; one that I cannot really keep up with. For that I apologize. I will do my best to keep the important stuff updated, and trim back the non-necessities. There will however, still be plenty to see. You will find many changes, if this is not your first visit. In January, 2002 I moved the whole collection of sites to a new server, and began a total overhaul of everything. It's a work in progress, so let me know if you find anything that doesn't work right. In 2007 we added an improved photo album module which I have recently added pictures to, so be sure to check it out.

Christine and Michael now have their own sites, which truly makes this a family web site. But now that Christine is out of college, married, and working for a living in Chicago, it is a lot more challenging getting fresh data!

You can find out a little about us. You can meet my family, and learn about our past. You can see how the children (and the parents!) have grown. You can learn about our diverse hobbies, from music to computers; From Scouting, to the fine art of cooking Texas chili. You can read the stories that Christine has published in the Daily Northwestern, the Kansas City Star and the Cincinnati Enquirer. You can learn about our church, and our daily walk with God. You can experience our likes and beliefs, and share in the experience of what we do to support them all. This site includes dozens of pictures, and also several links to other sites that are related in one way or another.
